The Department of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Portland (UP) seeks a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of assistant or associate professor in social work to begin August 2020. The candidate will be expected to teach across the B.S.W. foundation curriculum to include courses on human behavior and the social environment, clinical/interpersonal practice, and research methods. Substantive research, practice, and teaching expertise in one or more of the following areas is particularly welcome: aging, health care, mental health, gender, and sexuality.
