Re: Invitation for one-day definition workshop on14th July

Thank you for your continuing support of APASWE activities.
It is two months to go to the IASSW/IFSW/ICSW Global Conference in Melbourne.

Following the Global Conference, APASWE will hold a one-day workshop on the newly revised global definition which will be announced at the Global Conference in Melbourne.

This Asia-Pacific workshop will lead to an amplified definition of social work in the Asia-Pacific region. Your participation and voices are crucially important to make the definition be more relevant to the socio-cultural conditions of Asia Pacific.

The workshop will be held from 0830 to 1600 on Monday, 14th July at the ACAP Melbourne Campus -Level 9, 123 Lonsdale St, Melbourne 3000. A map to the venue is attached.

The President of APASWE cordially invites all APASWE members and National Associations to this workshop. There is no cost to attend this workshop.

If you are interested in attending this workshop, please notify your attendance for catering purposes to Nicci Salter, at n.a.salter@massey.ac.nz , (cc. Assistant to President of APASWE, at kwani215m@gmail.com ) as soon as possible, and no later than 31 May, 2014.
