APASWE in Stockholm Social Work and Social Development Conference

The IASSW, IFSW and ICSW tripartite world conference was held in Stockholm International Conference Hall, Sweden, on 9-12 July with more than 2400 participants from 110 countries/regions including many from the APASWE Region. Only APASWE among the five regional associations in the world, had its own booth to provide opportunities for members’ exchange and discussion, to disseminate the information on our organization/activities and the voice on the International Definition Review, Global Agenda, etc. and to invite new members. Hundreds of conference participants including those from Africa, Latin America and other regions dropped in, received leaflets and publications and/or had Q & A and discussion sessions. Some schools and individuals joined APASWE on the spot.
