The President of APASWE would like to release several important information to all APASWE members and national associations.

1) Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2017 (APRC2017) which will be held in Shenzhen, China.
This message is intended to highlight some important info from available conference website. Conference schedule has changed earlier and abstract is still open till the end of this month!

Conference Theme: Challenges and Responsibilities: Innovative Social Work and Sustainable Development
Abstract submission due date: April 30, 2017

2) APASWE Election 2017
It is very important year 2017. The APASWE Board of Directors call for nominations for the five vacancies on the APASWE Board that will occur in September 2017.
They are for: President, Secretary, three Committee (Board) Members.
Please join the Board for our endeavour to advance social work education in the Asia Pacific region!

Eligibility
• Nominees must be current APASWE Institutional Members (Article 4 Section1, Article 7 §§2 and 3)
• All Nominators (Proposers) and Seconders must be current APASWE members; they may be Institutional or Individual members.

Closing date for nominations: 1 August 2017
Nominations must be received by the Chair of the APASWE 2017 Nominating Committee by close of business, 1 August 2017 your local time.
